Matt's MOST EMBARASSING Moment

FISHING FAIL and it happened in a tournament! Not weighing in anything at all would have been better than this mess! Weighing an entire 5 bass limit for less than 5 lbs was a really sobering experience.

Thanks for listening to this embarassing story. Its all in good fun, we've all had those tough days we don't forget but that's what keeps us coming back for more. Don't let my experience deter you, Collins Lake is an awesome fishery! Here is the link to Tim telling the story of his 15 lber: https://youtu.be/pJt8qY0S6gY

Fall Pond Fishing For MICRO Fish from a Golf Cart!

We explore a farm pond in search of anything that will bite! The Fall transition is a great time to explore new ponds as the grass dies back and the fish move into the shallows. We stumble onto a school of aggressive Green Sunfish and have a blast catching them!

Fishing is all about balance. Whether you run a 21 foot bass boat or wade streams for trophy trout, we all need to stop at some point during the year and get back to our first love. Fishing for tiny fish with micro gear has a place in every serious angler's repertoire.

Fishing With A Piece Of Bass Fishing History !!!

Matt gambled everything for the chance to fish with a real piece of bass fishing history and it was amazing!!! Check this out! What an honor!!

Do you enjoy flipping, pitching, or fishing heavy cover for bass? Have you ever wondered why until recently all major tournaments had an 8 foot rod rule? Have you ever heard the name, Dee Thomas? If you haven't, you're missing a huge piece of bass fishing history!!

Dee Thomas is the godfather of Flipping. He developed a method called "Tullie Dipping" and later, the first flippin' sticks. He was inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall Of Fame in 2000 and later the  Bass Fishing Hall Of Fame for his contributions to the sport. Its such an honor to catch a fish with a real piece of bass fishing history that was once used by Dee Thomas!

While dipping sticks are generally a thing of the past, flipping is alive and well! We've recently done several videos, here is a link to our video "Flipping and Pitching Heavy Cover: Everything You Need To Know" -  https://youtu.be/gU1uGAVyfAI
