Spring Fishing Road Trip! Big Bass In The Desert?!

Texas Rigs, Jigs, Swimbaits, and a bunch of BIG Bass!! At the start of the year we vowed to take TacticalBassin on the road. Here is the first road trip! There will be more so stick with us, cross your fingers, and you might just find TacticalBassin fishing at your local lake this year! 

On this trip we found both prespawn and spawning bass including muddy water largemouth and crystal clear water smallmouth. Who knew the desert could be so diverse?! If you've never fished in the SouthWest be sure to add Arizona to your bucket list!

Texas Rig Challenge! Matt Vs. Tim

20 minutes, Head to Head, Winner take all! The rules are easy... we each get one Texas Rig and 3 baits. Who is going to stick the biggest bass?? Its been a long Winter, let's have some fun!

Huge SLAB Crappie On Every Cast!

If you love Crappie fishing, this is for you! Clearlake is known for GIANT SLABS and today they didn't disappoint! They bit everything we throw at them! We've included tips for crappie fishing as well as a handful of baits you need to try.

Crappie are incredibly picky eaters but once you've got them dialed in you can catch them for hours! We use small swimbaits, hair jigs, and perfectly balanced flies to elicit bites from stubborn panfish.
