Once you're used to the darkness, night fishing is easier than fishing in the day. Most nights the fishing is very good, though it will take some time to learn the fine details. 3 Topwater Tricks For Late Summer Bass Fishing!

The dog days of Summer have arrived! Catching bass on topwater is really simple, but there are some tricks! It doesn't matter if you fish reservoirs, swamps, or ponds, here are 3 tips that will simplify your topwater fishing this Summer.

The second half of Summer requires more attention to detail. The bass have seen a lot of baits the past few months and standing out from the crowd will become more important as each day passes. We recommend fishing the extremes. Focus on baits that are significantly larger, and significantly smaller than the "normal" offerings. Additionally, targeting fish during low light periods with fast moving baits and high sun periods with subtle presentations will increase your odds.

However, if someone shows you how to break down a grass flat you'll immediately see it in a new light. Edges suddenly become defined, grass types stand out, and fish become incredibly predictable!
