Underwater Footage Of A Teener! | The Biggest Bass We've Ever Seen Underwater!!

Have you dreamed about a TEENER largemouth? Here is your chance to see one up close! This UNDERWATER look at 13+ pound bass in her natural habitat is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Catching a bass of this size is life changing, we're incredibly blessed to have one interact with the camera so we can all enjoy her together!

Bass of this size rarely come without sacrifice. With this monster the sacrifice came at the hand of a fellow angler. This MONSTER bass was hooked on a swimbait earlier in the day by a good friend but she came to the surface and jumped free! Once he was sure he wouldn't get another opportunity to catch her he shared the location with us so we could bring you this epic underwater footage!

We didn't catch this fish, in fact we didn't even know she was there until Tim got home and went back through the footage. Tim did catch the male and it weighed 4.3 lbs. Keep that size in mind when you see the little male next to that GIANT bass! A bass of this size deserves to be honored and if you're a bass fisherman with a pulse, this is a video worth watching! A true teener in her natural habitat... amazing!

Crazy Underwater Footage! GIANT BASS Meets 10" Huddleston Swimbait!

Have you ever wondered if big swimbaits work? I mean, do they really work? Ever wanted to see a MONSTER BASS eat one? Now is your chance! Watch this trophy bass get fired up and eat monster 6 to 10 inch swimbaits over and over!

Its amazing to watch the defensive patterns change as the video progresses. In the beginning the smaller bass is totally focused on protecting the larger bass. By the end of the video the smaller fish has lost control and is just staying out of the way and the Monster bass attacks any swimbait that comes near its bed!

Anglers often over think their fishing but this is one time that I think we underestimate bass. There is a lot more going on during the spawn than we realize. From the surface of the water the concept seems simple but when we take an underwater look at the spawning process its amazing how many layers there really are to the bass' behavior.

Its clear that blanket answers like “just throw white” or “catching spawning bass kills their nest” or “fishing during the spawn is cheating” simply aren't accurate. Every bed and every bass is different. With a little patience and a lot of studying you can quickly analyze each fish and change your approach to become a much more effective and efficient bed fisherman.

Amazing Underwater Bass Fishing Footage of Tim Catching a BIG Spotted Bass!

Let's head underwater to watch as Tim fishes for a BIG Spotted Bass with a variety of baits and talks us through what is happening! Want to learn how to catch these big bass? Watching bass behavior underwater is the fastest way to become a better fisherman.

Time on the water has always been the most efficient way to become a great angler. Now that we can head underwater with a GoPro and actually watch the fish's movements and behavioral patterns the time involved in becoming a great angler is shorter than ever before! These videos are more than entertainment. They're a first hand look at the mannerisms that we can't see from the surface.

This particular fish is actually a bed fish. This is a giant female Spotted Bass and she's ready to defend her nest at all costs. Watch how the behavior changes from one bait to the next as she works aggressively to push and carry them away from the bed before finally consuming the baits to stop them. Bed fish of any species can be very aggressive but even in this situation, nothing compares to a Spot.

Tim uses 3 different baits to approach this Spotted Bass...

Spotted bass are amazing predators. They're smarter than largemouth and stronger than smallmouth. What they lack in size they make up for in aggression and in recent years, giant spotted bass have began dominating fisheries across the country, especially lakes like Bullards Bar, Lake Berryessa, Lake Shasta, and Lake Oroville. If you have the opportunity to experience Spotted Bass fishing you need to take the time to try it!
