Boat Flipping Frog fish!

Want to boat flip your fish instead of using a net? Stop breaking rods! Stop hurting fish! We're going to quickly teach you how to boat flip safely and consistently. The next time you're on the water with heavy tackle and want to flip a fish, you're going to know exactly what to do!

The technique of flipping fish into the boat instead of lipping them or using a net is very simple. Once you've learned the method you can replicate it over and over. Whether using heavy tackle and braided line or moderate tackle with mono or fluorocarbon, you can do this effectively.

Below, we've broken down the gear we were using in this video. We're also going to include a handful of product lines from different companies that we recommend for boat flipping. Keep in mind that "higher end" tackle tends to be more brittle than "lower end" product so the key is to find the product lines that offer the best compromise of sensitivity, strength, and consistency.

The Trick To Never Burn Out On Fishing

Ever had a friend quit fishing altogether? Ever watching a really good angler just vanish from the tournament scene? It happens every day! Ever wondered why? Maybe its the social media pressure, maybe its rude boaters, maybe its their home life, but more than likely its a combination of all the above.

If you're passionate about bass fishing and you want it to be a life-long sport there is one key that will keep you coming back from more. At least once a year you need to STOP bass fishing and do something completely different! Let's be real, bass fishing isn't very relaxing. Between the heavy line and the roaring outboards its not nearly as "back to nature" as trout or bluegill fishing.

Do yourself a favor this year and take a break. If you can find a healthy balance between aggressively pursuing BIG bass and relaxing while fishing for other species, you're going to be a life long angler.

Here is what Matt was using...

Summer Bass Fishing: How To Catch Deep Schooling Bass

Summer is here and the big bass are moving off shore to deeper water. Has it left you stumped, wondering how to catch them? Tim explains where the fish are headed, how they position, and what baits are most effective for this style of fishing.

Start by locating tapering points, ledges, and areas that have quick deep water access. Once you've located these likely areas you're already ahead of the curve. Using electronics you can quickly locate the "sweet spot" where the fish are sitting on that piece of structure. If you don't have electronics you simply need to put in some time, fish the entire structure, until you begin catching fish.

Below is a breakdown of the baits Tim has confidence in for locating and activating these schools of fish.
