My New Boat! Full Tour + Custom Build On The Skeeter FXR 20!!

This is the first time we've EVER owned NEW Boats! Its been a long time coming and we finally took the plunge!! After decades in the fishing industry, traveling the country and filming, neither Matt nor Tim has ever owned a brand new boat. Tim took the leap first and Matt isn't far behind. Come take a look at Tim's new Skeeter!

You've been seeing the Skeeter in videos for a few months now and the questions have been pouring in. We've been meaning to give you a tour for a while but we were busy dialing in the rigging, breaking in the motor, and getting to know the boat so we could answer any questions that might come up. After months of seat time, we can tell you with confidence that we love this boat!

Underwater Footage Of Bass Attacking Lures! ( Crystal Clear Water! )

Come underwater and watch how bass interact with your lures! From what triggers a bite, to when you should set the hook, there is so much to be learned by looking below the surface. Some of these fish are stalking their prey, others are defensive, and others are reacting to movement. Its amazing what we can learn!

In today's footage Tim is interacting with bass in different phases with different presentations. Between a Texas Rig, a jig, and a ned rig, its interesting to see how the bites can vary. Some fish inhale the bait while others nip at it repeatedly. At the end of the day the question is, when would you have set the hook? Would you have caught the fish or reeled up a torn up trailer?

The chatterbait is incredibly versatile once you learn to adapt your trailers and retrieves. We use 4 main trailers paired to 4 different chatterbaits to meet every situation we face. The chatterbait can remain a simple option in your arsenal, or you can start adapting retrieves from a high speed burn, to a popping retrieve, to a bottom hopping presentation, to take it to a whole different level! Its up to you, but either way you need to commit to the chatterbait this Spring.

We're heading shallow! Come along as we search the shallows for bass that are making early moves toward the prespawn. SPOILER ALERT: IT WORKS!!! You're about to witness a beat down as we catch bass after bass, up to 11 lbs!!! This time of year can produce giants if you're willing to pursue them!

So many anglers forget to adapt with the seasons. We're constantly pushing the envelope and searching for fish that are moving ahead of the norm. In this case, it involved moving shallow despite cool conditions. It payed off in a huge way! We started off catching big bass with squarebills and paddle tail swimbaits, then ended it with GIANT BASS on chatterbaits!
