3 Tricks To Catch Bass In Late Summer!

Late Summer is a challenging time for most bass fisherman, but not anymore! Today we have 3 tricks that are going to help you catch more fish. We travel the country year round  and have stumbled on a few patterns along the way that help us get bit when nothing else is working. If you're ready to catch more bass, this is for you!

If you want to catch more fish right now, try these 3 tricks...

1) Begin focusing your attention on bass that are targeting smaller baitfish. You can do this by changing the size of your baits, as well as the locations you're fishing.

2) Focus on lively grass. As grass begins to die back, bass will abandon dying grass, but will stay in the lively sections. You can visually see this grass, but you can also listen for activity in grass that is topped out.

3) Go night fishing. This simple concept allows you to avoid the heat and target active fish, but it has its own list of subtle tricks. Don't miss Matt's recommendations about moon phase to increase your success rate.

Shallow Water Bass Fishing! Flipping, Topwater, Old School Spring Bass Fishing!

Jump in the boat for an exciting day of bass fishing! Matt is on the road and today he's dropped into a lake where the fish are in an old school mood. Today is all about a flipping stick, a frog rod, and shallow water. He's not chasing suspended fish, probing open water, or even using modern electronics!

This is the bass fishing we fell in love with as kids. Bass are up on the bank, they're not line shy, and you can hammer the hook sets. Early Spring Power Fishing! (And Grass Fishing Tips)

Jump in the boat with Matt for an afternoon fishing trip in Florida! We've only got a few hours to fish, but that's all we need. Matt employs a handful of baits to quickly start catching fish, including several of his favorite grass fishing techniques. While fishing, he takes the time to explain the details of what he looks for when fishing around grass, how he breaks down water, and the baits he uses to consistently catch fish.

This was one of the quickest trips we've ever done. Matt only had a few hours to fish, but with a swim jig locked in his hand, you know fish are going to be caught. Throw in the swimming worm, a soft jerkbait, and a few alligators and we've got a fun afternoon on the water! While enjoying the fishing, listen closely to Matt's explanation of how he targets fish in grass by finding edges.

Beat The Heat! Tips To Catch More Bass Around Grass This Summer!

Come along for an exciting day on the water! Torrential rains and heavy flooding this week in Tennessee led to unseasonable conditions. Tim launched into muddy water and floating debris where he was expecting clear water and aggressive fish. He did an awesome job of adapting to the changing conditions, not only catching fish, but putting together a great pattern that he could repeat around the lake.
