Top Baits For Post Spawn Bass Fishing (May and June)

Crazy Fishing Lures That Actually Work!!

Some baits catch fish, some just catch fisherman. The crazier the bait, the more you wonder about it.  Is that bait junk or is it something special? Today we're looking at some of those odd ball, goofy baits that actually catch fish! These designers were thinking outside the box when they built these lures and the gamble paid off. Its safe to say that we're all attracted to crazy looking lures. In years past most of us fell for the flying lure, the helicopter lure, and those crazy looking crankbaits with glowing red eyes. Most of the really off the wall baits turned out to be junk, but once in a while we'd stumble on a gem that actually caught fish. In today's fast-paced world there are more crazy lures than ever! Top 5 Baits For December Bass Fishing!

December brings new challenges and bigger bass! These baits will help you catch them! As water temperatures drop the way to consistently catch bass changes. There are a few power fishing techniques that remain but finesse will start taking a lead roll as well. Here's what you need to know... 

If you're going to power fish you want to focus on lures that draw a feed response in the bass. Speed cranking and A-rig fishing are the two main power techniques that consistently work in cold water. Another great option is hopping a blade bait. All 3 of these methods will catch Winter time giants. Aside from these techniques you should focus your attention on slower bottom contact baits like the football jig and ned rig to get consistent bites.

How To Bass Fish On A Budget! (Cheap Lures That ACTUALLY Work!!)

Bass fishing shouldn't break the bank! If your tackle spending is out of control, we've got you covered with some awesome "budget" alternatives that really catch fish! High-end tackle is nice (we know because we're tackle junkies!!!) but you can catch a ton of fish without going broke buying lures and gear. The key to buying budget tackle is to avoid the junk. A lot of cheap tackle isn't worth the packaging its hanging in, but there are exceptions.
