Custom Rods: Contact Curt via facebook or Instagram @Curtdemerathfishing for custom rods like you see in the video. He can do custom sizes, actions, etc.

Matt And Tim both LOVE high end bass fishing gear but we know that not everyone can afford to use the best gear on the market. We spent years and years using low end bass fishing rods and have slowly worked our way up. Don't feel pressured to spend outside of your budget but when the time is right, be sure to check out the equipment we use as a point of reference for your own fishing.

You do not need the top of the line rods and reels to catch more bass but it definitely makes the experience more fun!

We hope you enjoyed this in depth look at our rod and reel arsenal for 2017. Be sure to check out part 2 as we head over to Tim's garage to check out his awesome rod and reel setups for 2017!

Fluke Fishing Tricks You Have To Try!

Soft Jerkbaits are one of the most versatile lures you can use to catch bass! Most people Texas rig them and while that works great, we've discovered a new way to rig them that is even more effective! Watch this underwater GoPro footage of the bass eat flukes and we're sure you'll agree!

Our finesse jerkbait method allows you to hook fish more effectively and also allows you to use lighter line to catch pressured bass. This method has been extremely effective for us and we're confident it will help you improve your fishing as well.

Jerkbait fishing is great for catching bass throughout the year. Its so versatile because you can fish it aggressively as a topwater, moderately as a soft jerkbait, or ultra slow like a weightless senko or on a Carolina Rig. Combine it with this new rigging method and its sure to help you load the boat this year!

Winter Jerkbait Fishing Tips

Jerkbaits are one of the few reaction baits that work consistently, even at the lowest water temps. Matt explains the differences between jerkbait models and why they're able to draw strikes. He also breaks down the gear needed and cadences to use to catch the most fish this Winter.

Keep an eye out for Friday's video as well! On Friday we'll explore Bass behavior underwater and watch them react to a jerkbait. Observing their behavior is VERY eye opening but first you have to understand the baits, the cadences, and the proper gear. Below is a breakdown of the baits and equipment we use for jerkbaits this time of year.
