Top 5 Baits For September Bass Fishing!

Bass are in transition in September. As water temperatures drop, the bass move to their Fall haunts and begin feeding heavily. If you're not paying attention to their movements the bite can be amazing one day and leave you scratching your head the next but with these baits you know you're showing them the right lures to keep catching fish. Throw them with confidence in likely locations to find success all month long!

September can be amazing topwater fishing! It can also be an amazing time to throw subsurface lures that imitate small baitfish. We spend very little time finesse fishing in September, instead leaning on fast moving, power fishing techniques to get consistent bites. The best part about September is that as you build patterns toward the end of the month, those patterns are likely to last all the way through the Fall and into the beginning of Winter.

Matt's NEW PB! Didn't Expect This Fish To Bite!

Matt has no idea he's about to catch his PB! You just never know what's going to bite when you're out on the lake! Come along for a fun day of bass fishing full of all sorts of other random species catches as well! The transition from Fall to Winter is a great time to be on the water!

This would have been a really fun day of bass fishing but it got even better when a giant Walleye decided to make an appearance on the first stop of the morning! Too much fun! Today was unseasonably warm so Matt was able to power fish all day long. He caught fish on the Alabama Rig and several different underspins. The key to his success today was retrieve speed. As the temperatures rose, so did the fish's desire to chase the baits.

Small Creek Kayak Fishing! ( Tennessee Musky Fishing )
