Free Rig Fishing For Fall Bass! (On The Water How To)

Come along on the boat as we fish the "Free Rig" for Fall bass! Have you tried the "Free Rig" yet? This is a great time of year to use this presenation! Think of this rig as a finesse version of a Texas Rig or Carolina Rig. It's a fish catcher and you should give it a try!

The Free Rig isn't new, but is continuing to gain popularity, especially as grass begins dying back in the Fall. This rig really shines around lay downs, docks, and other hard cover.  The benefit of this rig is it allows your bait to fall very slowly, allowing a natural presentation, while still keeping great bottom contact.

Today was all about finesse! Tim's primary baits were a tube and a finesse swimbait. Color was key on the tube but didn't seem important at all on the swimbait. The most important factor was reaching the fish before they detected the boat. Long casts, light line, and keeping the boat quiet were all critical factors.

The BEST Technique You've NEVER Heard Of!

The Spiral Bait has been working for decades and guys are finally finding out! Maybe you've heard all the hype surrounding the Hover Rig, well you're about to find out that this method (in one form or another) has been winning money in the West for a long time!

With word spreading about the hover rig, the cat is out of the bag on this old Western tournament technique. The key to the spiral bait is the "death spiral." Learning to adjust each bait to get a wide death spiral will allow fish more time to approach the bait before it hits bottom. This technique works and it's finally getting the coverage it deserves.
