Spring is the best time to catch big bass! Fish are moving shallow to feed and spawn and they're easy to catch. That is, if you know where to look and what lures to use. You can catch the biggest bass of your life RIGHT NOW and we're showing you how to do it!

Consistency in Spring is all about understanding bass behavior. Fish are motivated by the spawn and will do whatever it takes to reach they areas they like to spawn in. Weather will impact how quickly they move and water temperature and clarity will impact what you fish with. Once you have the basics, its really easy! Underspin Tricks You Haven't Tried Yet! (But You Need To)

Underspins work! Paired with a swimbait they bring more flash, more vibration, and unique colors that fool bass into biting. If you fish for bass in Spring and you don't have an underspin in the mix, you're probably getting out fished by someone who does! We have some little tricks we use to make our underspins even better and today Tim is giving it up!

First you have to understand the differences between the different underspins and what they're for. After that you get a feel for which swimbaits to pair them to in different situations. Once you've got that down you're a very proficient under spin fisherman and its time to start playing with blades and stinger hooks.

This Is How We Catch Bigger Bass In Spring! (Shallow Water Tricks)

Come along for a day on the water and watch how we locate big bass in a giant reservoir! Matt runs the exact pattern that we teach for early season bass fishing and it plays out perfectly. First he catches a few fish, then he catches a whole school, then he catches a BIG one! Its the perfect script for early Spring bass fishing!

Matt is targeting early prespawn bass with a chatterbait, lipless, and squarebill. He's running secondary points in search of active fish and not wasting any time on unproductive water. When he locates a school he picks it apart then keeps moving in search of the bigger fish that are sure to follow. This is a pattern you can run on any lake around the country. We hope this gives you confidence to keep moving until you catch the fish you're searching for!
