Many anglers struggle during the Fall Transition. Typically those that struggle are fighting against the transition instead of embracing the change. Wakebait and Topwater Fishing! BIG FISH Bite When The Weather Is CRAZY!!!

Late Summer Topwater Tricks! (How To Catch More Fish)

Many anglers completely miss the best topwater bite of the Summer, don't be one of them! The topwater bite is amazing right now! Late Summer is a great time to focus on topwater, but its critical that you focus on the right baits at the right time of day. 

As Summer wanes we focus the majority of our attention on straight retrieve topwater. These are fast moving lures that bass have to aggressively chase to catch. Speed is the key with these lures and the bites are aggressive! However, there is a window in the middle of the day in shallow, grass filled fisheries where a frog will outshine any other topwater. Knowing when to set down the fast retrieve baits and slow down is the difference between a good day and a day you'll never forget!
