How To Catch Bass With Plastic Worms - Amazing Underwater Footage!!

We've made this so easy! 5 styles of worms, 2 basic colors, and 3 ways to rig them. Let's head underwater and look at the differences between the different worms. Do you really need 100's of worms? Of course not! Today we're going to make it so simple, you’ll always know which worms to throw when you get to the lake.

Worm fishing can be broken down into 5 tail styles. Within those 5 styles you can find your favorite models. Within those models you can survive with 2 basic colors (Black/blue and Green Pumpkin) but it can be nice to have a few others as well. The key is knowing when to use each style. Today Matt concisely explains the benefits of each worm so you can easily choose between them based on conditions.

Below is a break down of the styles, including our two favorite picks from each category. We'll also include our favorite hooks, jigheads, as well as rods and reels.

How To Catch Bass Between Winter Storms

Got cabin fever? Winter fishing can be great when the sun pops out! Don't let the rising temperatures fool you though, its not Spring yet! These quick tips will save you a ton of time and help you quickly locate fish on those warmer Winter days.

We have a simple system for chasing bass on Winter days...

Step 1) Check the big bait bite

Step 2) Throw a reactive (finesse) bait

Step 3) Slow down the presentation and switch to true finesse

Step 4) Deadstick and hope for a bite

Step 5) Take a picture of the sunset

Winter days can be fantastic fishing! Many anglers overlook the opportunity and mistakenly wait for Spring. Below is a break down of the baits we used to adapt to the brief warm spell between storms.

Easy Winter Jig Tricks That Get More Bites!

These simple tricks make a huge difference! Don't throw the same old bait. With some quick modifications to your jig and trailer, you can create a completely custom bait that gets a ton of bites! Don't settle, anyone can do these modifications with ease.

In Winter we focus on finesse jigs. We bounce between a casting jig, a true finesse jig, and a finesse football jig depending on circumstances and we keep our trailers just as simple. Don't over-complicate the Winter. Focus on action and basic colors, the rest will just make it tougher to catch fish.

Below is a breakdown of Matt's favorite Winter jigs, preferred colors, trailers, and rods/reels for this style of fishing. Jigs are an amazing option throughout Winter, even when water temperatures dip into the 30's. If you're struggling to catch a quality bass, this video is for you.

Winter A-Rigs (Beginner Tips AND Advanced Rigging Tricks)

Are you doing it wrong? Are you going down the bank mindlessly casting an A-rig? Winter is when the fine details of A-rig fishing become critical. Its time to focus on modifying your rigs to reach new depths and catch fish you can't target any other way. This isn't the same old A-rig info, its time to do things differently.

7 years ago the Alabama Rig hit the scene and shocked the tournament world. Anglers thought it was the end of the world and fishing would never be the same. While that has already proven itself to be ridiculous, the A-rig remains an incredible tool for Winter bass fishing.

When the reaction bite dies and you've resigned yourself to finesse fishing, there is still a shot that the A-rig will work. It works long after most other reaction offerings have lost their effectiveness. Don't be afraid to pick up an A-rig this Winter, make a few adaptions for the cold water conditions, and start slinging!

Below is a breakdown of the rigs, baits, gear, and storage options of the A-rig.
