Underspin Tricks For Early Spring Bass Fishing! (Beginner To Advanced)

The underspin is deadly on early Spring bass! Whether your fish are up in shallow cover eating big bait fish, hanging on breaks eating tiny shad, or suspending on outside structure, the underspin can be adapted to virtually any conditions. Like any technique, there are small tricks that make a huge difference in your success and today Tim is showing his best trick for catching fish that aren't ready to fully commit to the bait. 

Underspins come in all shapes and sizes. Even with our "simple is better" approach to the technique we still find ourselves with 4 or 5 models on the boat at all times. Being able to adapt to changing conditions and different size baitfish makes a huge difference with this technique so don't be afraid to adjust your bait if the fish aren't reacting.

Prespawn Bass Fishing With Worms, Creature Baits, and Swimbaits - A Day On The Water

We're back in Florida, avoiding the cold and chasing big bass! Matt's family joins him today for a fun day on the water, dialing in patterns and catching quality fish. We love to power fish in Spring but sometimes you have to listen to the fish and just slow down. Today's biggest fish fell for a plastic worm, but that didn't stop Matt from finding a frog bite in the end! 

We love to focus on power fishing in early Spring but weather is the ultimate deciding factor. You can be on an amazing reaction bite one day but the next you'll need a spinning rod in your hand if cold weather comes in. Chatterbait Tips For Spring Bass Fishing! (Beginner and Advanced)

Chatterbaits are deadly in the Spring! Since its inception, the bladed jig has swept the market and continues to catch bass year after year despite incredible fishing pressure. If you want to be consistent its important to know that all bladed jigs are NOT created equal. Choosing the right bait is just as important as the conditions you choose to throw it in!

Tim covers basics like "what is a chatterbait" but also dives deep into different blade movements, trailer options, colors, and when to throw the different styles.
