Insane Summer BFS Fishing! Finesse Paddletails For BIG Bass!

Jump in the boat with Tim for an amazing day on the water! He wasn't planning to film today, but when the big bass started coming in the boat, he knew he had to fire up the camera and share the experience. His BFS rods got a work out as he quickly loaded 27 lbs of Smallmouth into the boat!

The key today was targeting active fish around cover with finesse swimbaits. Off camera, Tim made a lot of adjustments, trying different baits to dial in a pattern, but all they wanted was the small paddle tail. He switched between 3 baits in 4 sizes to catch his limit of fish.

2 Baits For Fishing In The Wind! (Power And Finesse Swimbaits)

The conditions are tough, but they know the baits to get the job done. It doesn't take long to catch a big bag of fish, including two trophy Smallmouth.

The Dark Sleeper and Spark Shad are a phenomenal 1–2 punch. The Spark Shad gets a ton of bites with its natural finesse presentation. Once the fish are fired up, the Dark Sleeper does a great job of converting the larger, wary bass into biting. If you'v never used this method, you're leaving clear water Smallmouth behind.

3 Paddle Tail Swimbaits That Catch Fish In Tough Conditions + Road Trip Fishing!

Jump in the boat for a wild day on the water! Matt is on a road trip in the North and has no idea what he’s in for. What begins as a beautiful day on the water quickly spirals into a snow storm, but that doesn’t stop him from catching fish! Today is a great example of a natural Northern lake. There seem to be a ton of fish in the shallows that are willing to bite, but it takes some adapting to catch the bigger bass. Notice how Matt cycles through baits and locations to fine tune a pattern to catch the bigger fish, ultimately using the wind to his advantage.
