Tricks To Catch Bass In Hot August Heat! ( Reservoir Bass Fishing )
It's the HOTTEST day of the year and we're going fishing! Jump in the boat with Tim as he launches before daylight and dials in a fun day of bass fishing, despite the heat! Summer bass fishing can be really fun if you understand fish movements and how they position throughout the day. What works in the morning probably won't work midday, but that's half of the fun!
Tim starts the day fishing shallow points. He employs a combination of topwater and a finesse jig to catch fish in low light. As the sun gets higher the fish start moving offshore and suspending in open water. Tim uses an Urchin, a dropshot, and a spoon to coax the stubborn midday fish into biting as well. Ultimately, the weather chases Tim off the water, but not before he's caught Smallmouth, Largemouth, AND Spotted bass!
