October Fishing Tricks For Hard To Catch Bass!

Jump in the boat with Tim for an awesome day on the water! He's targeting hard-to-catch fish in open water, and showing you all the tricks that work. The day begins under heavy fog and ends with high temperatures and blue skies. Catching fish in these conditions, especially suspended fish, can be extremely difficult. Pay close attention to the baits Tim relies on to get bites throughout the day.

Spotted Bass are amazing predators that hunt aggressively in open water. Tim's primary bait was a walking topwater, with a swimbait, senko, and strolling bait helping clean up what was left. Tim's specific baits changed throughout the day, reflecting the adaptations needed as conditions switched from overcast skies to clear.

Bass Fishing Day On The Water! BIG LARGEMOUTH In Post Frontal, Cold, Windy Conditions!

Jump in the Skeeter with Tim for a great day of fishing! He's facing post frontal, windy conditions, but that won't stop him! Watch how he starts with a plan, then adapts to the changing conditions. Between the wind, the cold, the clouds, and the constant change, he manages to catch a great limit of fish, including a great big largemouth kicker!

These are the days when our fishing skills are tested. The fish aren't cooperating with Tim's plan, but he adapts and overcomes. By switching to slower moving, smaller presentations, he's able to coax a few fish into biting. He didn't get a ton of bites, but every bite resulted in a quality fish. The Keitech and the Spark Shad were the ticket today, but that jerkbait came in clutch as well.
