Jig fishing is EASY in the Summer! Keep it simple, focus on key jig styles in key colors and fish with confidence. By simplifying your method, you'll have more confidence this Summer and you'll catch more fish. We've narrowed it down to 3 jigs to get you through all of your Summer bass fishing.

Anglers often get caught up in the hype of new lures and colors. Some of these new offerings make a huge difference and stay in the arsenal permanently, others simply distract you from your confidence baits for a time. Today we've narrowed our Summer options to a finesse jig, a pitchin' jig, and a flipping' jig. These 3 jigs and a handful of trailers will work in every situation you come across on the water.

Below is a breakdown of the jigs, including color recommendations. We've also included the jig trailers as well as the rods and reels we have confidence in for this fishing style. Don't let the dog days of Summer get you down, this is prime time to get out there and catch a bunch of bass!

Easy Winter Jig Tricks That Get More Bites!

These simple tricks make a huge difference! Don't throw the same old bait. With some quick modifications to your jig and trailer, you can create a completely custom bait that gets a ton of bites! Don't settle, anyone can do these modifications with ease.

In Winter we focus on finesse jigs. We bounce between a casting jig, a true finesse jig, and a finesse football jig depending on circumstances and we keep our trailers just as simple. Don't over-complicate the Winter. Focus on action and basic colors, the rest will just make it tougher to catch fish.

Below is a breakdown of Matt's favorite Winter jigs, preferred colors, trailers, and rods/reels for this style of fishing. Jigs are an amazing option throughout Winter, even when water temperatures dip into the 30's. If you're struggling to catch a quality bass, this video is for you.

When the dog days of summer seem like they are too much to bear, sometimes the right presentation can land you those finicky summer bass. Tim from Tactical Bassin’ will teach you how to pick the best finesse summer presentation. From the increasingly popular ned rig to finesse jigging, don’t get beat by the summer heat!

Finesse Jigs - Get More Bites AND Catch Big Bass!

Why finesse jigs? When should you throw them? What are they for? Are they really that effective at catching quality and quantity at the same time? We're going to cover everything you need to know about Finesse jigs in this video!

The finesse jig shines throughout the Spring and early Summer. It produces consistently around cover, docks, and even around chunk rock. It has all the same fish catching qualities as a full size jig but it allows you to downsize your equipment and line to adapt to changing conditions.
The next time you're on a shaky head, dropshot, or Texas Rig bite, consider throwing a finesse jig instead and you might be surprised at the number of big bass that had been lurking in front of you all along.
