Per your request, here is the complete tour of Matt's boat boat. This is the boat you see in many of our videos and its also the boat Matt uses for all of his guiding. From the equipment, to the tackle, to some important tips on what gear you need to carry to keep your boat running when you're out on the water, you don't want to miss this video!

We put off doing this video because we didn't see the initial value but we included some tips on storage, boat layout, and most importantly on essential equipment that should really help you with your own boat.

Matt Loses A 15 lb Bass At The Net! | Painful Fish Story

Matt had the 15 lber right up to the edge of the net! When she came off his swimbait flew by his head like a bullet! Worse yet, she didn't even know she was free and just kept thrashing! It was horrible!

Matt was throwing an 8" Huddleston Deluxe Swimbait in a large pond from an aluminum boat when the monster bass bit. He was using gear that wasn't strong enough and it was all he could do to battle the giant bass! Losing that fish has replayed in Matt's mind hundreds if not thousands of times and even now remains as a constant reminder to keep his gear dialed in and stay focused at all times.

Gear Matt Should Have Used...

Line- 80 lb Sufix 832: http://bit.ly/2ae93Ji
Leader- 30 lb Maxima Ultragreen: http://bit.ly/2ae97J9

Matt's Biggest Limit | 51 lbs with a 12 lb Kicker!

Catching a 51 lb limit for 5 bass is an experience of a lifetime. Doing it with a camera crew while filming for Trev Gowdy's Monster Fish was amazing! To top it off, the day before they had a 25+ limit of smallmouth bass!

The number one question we get asked is can you see the show? It still airs from time to time but we don't have a hard copy of it. Be sure to record "Monster Fish" if you want to see it!

What Gear did we use?

We were so blessed to catch even one giant bass on a swimbait but to catch a huge limit, and in only 3 hours was truly amazing! Trev Gowdy also go the biggest bass of his life that day. If you ever get the chance to fish big swimbaits , give it a try, you just never know what could happen!

Tim's 2017 Rod and Reel Arsenal

In today's video Tim shows his 2017 rod and reel combos. From affordable to outrageous, he's got an assortment of gear that puts most tackle shops to shame! Our viewers asked for a tour of our gear so here it is...

We both LOVE high end bass fishing gear but we know that not everyone can afford to use the best gear on the market. We spent years and years using low end bass fishing rods and have slowly worked our way up. Don't feel pressured to spend outside of your budget but when the time is right, be sure to check out the equipment we use as a point of reference for your own fishing.
