How To Catch Bigger Schooling Fish

Matt explains how schooling bass move and react. How the largest bass stay deep and play off the feeding mentality of the smaller fish to eat with minimal effort. He also explains how adapting your bait selection can help you to catch the largest fish in the school. 

The next time you're on a topwater bite and the bass are really blowing up well, consider changing your offering and going deeper to get the bigger bites. Often times the truly giant bass will hang below bass that are feeding on the surface in our to take advantage of their efforts and eat the scraps with minimal effort.

Throwback To Our Favorite Video!

Thank you for supporting us as we've grown to over 40,000 subscribers on Youtube and 37,000 Followers on Instargram! We appreciate all of your support! This milestone got us a little nastalgic so we looked through our past videos and picked out our absolute favorite. 

This frog fishing video is our favorite for a several reasons. The finished product turned out incredibly well but more importantly, we had a blast getting all the clips! Frogging is one of our favorite ways to catch fish and we were on an amazing bite!

Part 2: A Day On The Delta

Part 2 of our Day on the California Delta picks up right where part one left off. The frog bite has begun picking up as the big bass are moving shallow with the rising tide and its about to get crazy!

The key to targeting better quality fish was to locate offshore grass. Despite the rising tide the grass was still fairly shallow. It wasn't until the tide was almost all the way up that the grass had enough water on it for the bigger fish to move in. 

Once the big fish were staged up they were happy to eat the Bully Wa 2 frog or a senko. We hope you're able to take some tips away from this video so you can be more successful on your next bass fishing trip. Good luck out there!
